Yes, I finally managed to kick off the new site. I have very minimal CSS experience, so I just used one of the stock Wordpress themes. Eventually, I hope to have a nicer design, with an area devoted to a cartoon panel, a more representative banner, and an actual logo of sorts.
The premise of Running With Chopsticks: I’ve always wanted to do a few creative things — draw a comic, fiddle with audio and video, and just express myself in a way that didn’t seem to fit with the ol personal blog. The name of this site was inspired by my blog on Vox, which is this blogging service that allowed to be more personal and private in my journal writing. I find “running with chopsticks” to be the perfect analogy of my life — running headlong into unknown territory equipped only with the tools of my past. Plus I like that I alluded to my Asian heritage in the title. Yeah it’s cheesy, but I’m okay with that 
Unlike other people with more patience than I do, I didn’t want to get the site all gussied up before launching it. Therefore, please consider Running With Chopsticks in full-on pre-alpha mode, where there’ll be many mistakes and errors along the way as I plod along trying to find my own voice in this crazy intarwebs.
